a few months back Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has unveiled its first slider mechanism phone – the Honor Magic 2.
After the launched, the company had promised another variant of the Honor Magic 2, which comes with a 3D scanner. As promised, Honor had launched its 3D scanner variant Magic 2 today in China.
The new Honor Magic 2 comes with 3D bionic sensitization technology that can track upto 10,000 facial points
which are further utilized for facial recognition authentication. Similar to Apple’s Face ID and Huawei’s premium models Face unlock, this phones include 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
Apart from these changes the Magic 2 3D is powered by the Kirin 980 SoC and runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie based Magic UI 2.0. The phone features a triple rear camera setup (16MP+16MP+24MP) and triple front-facing cameras (16MP+2MP+2MP).
