Google in March of this year added to Chrome not only a dark mode , but also several new themes with different color options. In the latest builds of the test version of the Canary browser, new interface settings and several parameters for the start page have appeared, reports Techdows.
To try the new settings, you must activate the NTP customization flags menu version 2 and the Chrome Colors menu. After that, a costume menu will appear in the browser settings, which expands the previously available options for the background image and shortcuts for the start page, as well as the browser color themes.
In the “Labels” section, the user can choose how to display links under the search panel on the new tab page from two options: either with the most visited sites, or only with bookmarks.
In Colors and Themes, you can use one of the four new built-in themes for Google Chrome: “purple”, “teal”, “pretty” and “bluish” – they look similar to the themes recently published by the Google team in the Chrome Web Store . How it will be possible to change the topic or add your own, is unclear.
