Realme GT 2 Pro will have optical stabilization and a microscope camera

Realme will unveil its first truly premium flagship smartphone GT 2 Pro next week. In anticipation of this, the manufacturer has revealed details about the triple camera of the novelty. According to some criteria, it will be the first for the brand and for smartphones in general.

The main camera in realme GT 2 Pro will be represented by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor and, for the first time in the company’s smartphones, with an optical image stabilization system (OIS). The second camera will also be 50MP, but with a 150-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, which has never been seen in any other smartphone.

The third camera has a resolution of only 2 megapixels, but this makes it no less interesting. Apparently, this is a microscopic module, similar to that found in the OPPO Find X3 . Below are examples of photos (structure of subpixels in the display) that can be obtained with this camera in realme GT 2 Pro.

The new smartphone will also receive a bioplastic body that tactilely resembles paper. In addition, it will use an improved antenna system to enhance the signal of the mobile network and Wi-Fi and a 360-degree NFC module. It will also receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and a second-generation LTPO display, which means dynamic frame rate support.

The presentation of the realme GT 2 Pro is scheduled for next Tuesday, January 4th.
