Chinese tech manufacturer Aya has opened pre-orders for Aya Neo, a portable console running Windows 10. The device is so powerful that it can run Red Dead Redemption 2 at a frame rate of over 30 fps.
The highly original Aya Neo is essentially a passable gaming laptop in a portable console form factor. Inside the box is an AMD Ryzen 5 4500 U processor with integrated Vega 6 graphics and 16GB of RAM. The seven-inch touchscreen supports 800p resolution. Also, the gadget can be equipped with an additional 500 GB or 1 TB drive. The battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh allows you to use the new product for about five hours of battery life. The system weighs 650 grams – twice the weight of the Nintendo Switch.
For clarity, the manufacturer also provided the results of several benchmarks. Judging by them, Aya Neo is capable of running Red Dead Redemption 2 at 39 fps, Death Stranding at 41 fps, and Forza Horizon 4 at 50-70 fps. The pre-order price of Aya Neo is 3999 yuan, which translated into Russian currency will be equal to approximately 46 thousand rubles. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to pre-order: all consoles were snapped up in a matter of minutes after the launch of the campaign. However, if a promising novelty succeeds, there is no doubt that the chance to purchase this unusual device will still appear.
