Windows 11 has not yet been officially released, but it has already begun to be installed on a variety of gadgets. Even despite the rather stringent system requirements , the new OS from Microsoft was successfully launched on a low-power single-board Raspberry Pi 4 microcomputer. How to Install Windows 11 on Raspberry Pi 4?
Success was shared by a Japanese user @Shichinomiya_s . He was able to install and run a test version of Windows 11 on an ARM-based Raspberry Pi 4 computer. Interestingly, the chip used in the Raspberry Pi 4 is not among the officially supported ones , but this did not affect the system’s performance in any way.
The installation was carried out using the WoR imager utility, in which you simply need to select a pre-downloaded ISO file. For clarity, @Shichinomiya_s has prepared a step- by -step instruction with a detailed description of all the stages and their actions.
